Opportunities & Amazing Experiences

This week is a stressful one because of the Pt’s that are needed to be passed, exams and the ABM Summit.

First, is the practice set. Since the deadline on it is coming nearer, I started to answer it together with my classmates. We worked as one, but we still did not finished it because of the other activities that should be prioritized first. But, while working, I realized that doing this practice set is a big help for me because it serves as a practice for us in facing the path to become a CPA someday. It is not an easy task but we worked together to answer it.

Second, is the preparation for the ABM Summit and happenings during the event. We were given opportunities to join the said competition since it requires greater number of students to join the said competition. It does not only give opportunities to those who are good on this field, but also to those who are willing to join and have the determination to work hard for it. I was given the opportunity to showcase my skill as I was assigned on WhizKids Competition together with my partners Rehan and Sittie. It is like a guessing game, wherein we were given 20 random questions and we should answer those questions within a minute only. Not only that, we should also guess the puzzle flashed on the projector. Unfortunately, we were not able to guess the puzzle but I enjoyed my experience on ABM Summit. I am so grateful to my co-participants and to our coach, Sir Unde for the fun and learnings that we got there.

Lastly, this week is our exam week. This exam, I felt so lucky because some of our teachers exempt us on exam because of the ABM Summit. We were also given extra points because of the ABM Summit and I’m so happy for it. This week may be a stressful because of the hectic schedule but I’m still blessed because of the opportunities that was given to me. Thank you!

This would be my last blog, thank you for reading. Bye!

One Section, One Lucy

My content for this week would be all about Saint Lucy.

Saint Lucy is the best section I ever had. It is the section where there is this cooperation and unity. During our pictorial day, we took pictures not only formal pictures but also pictures with our trophies and certificates. Those are the achievements of our section where we exerted efforts in any competition just to make our adviser who is Sir Unde proud. He is the reason of everything. For me, he is the best adviser because he did not just teach us lessons on his subjects, but he also treated us like his children. During the pictorial, I always think on graduation day. It is the most awaited time for me but it is also the time that we will go in our separate ways. But I hope that we will still remain friends and stay strong like how strong we are today.

Aquatics day, is a day filled with fun and happiness. It is like a break of us from stress in school. It was so fun because we played games there in pool with our adviser. We do not care anymore about the heat of the sun and the games we played if it was that childish or not, but all we have is fun. It is one of the best moments that I had with these people.

Last Friday we surprised Sir Unde and this serves as our payback to his goodness. Even how hardheaded we are sometimes, even others hate us, but he is always there for us that is why he is worthy to have this kind of surprise. After that we went to Calda because he treated us pizza where there we played another childish game with my classmates. Then, after that we go to Sport Bucks with them and the moments also there are amazing and we did not notice the time, it was late in the evening.

On Saturday, we are having our tree planting together with the Young Business Club there in Santiago wherein we plant Mangrove trees to help the nature.

“Ecocentrism”

An environment is the natural world that surrounds us. It is very important to keep it clean in order to live healthy and peaceful life. However, the environmental pollution has become one of the biggest threats for Earth. It can affect our future one day. People suffer from their own mistakes. Pollution endangers our existence and destroys our living environment. The future will either be green or not at all.

All living things that live on this earth comes under the environment. Whether they live on land or water they are part of the environment. The environment also includes air, water, sunlight, plants, animals, etc.

Nowadays, businesses are very competitive. They are not afraid to put their businesses ethics at risk to make sure that they have the best products and services. Most businesses are only thinking about the money. They think that, as long as they make a lot of profit, other does not matter. They do not realize that they harm the environment and environment sustainability is at risk because of businesses.

Businesses should not responsible only to their investors, employers, employees, and customer; they should put environment into account too.  They do not care about the impact to the future. They do not care about their waste, pollution, and how it will affect the environment. They do not care that one day natural resources will be gone because of them.

They should conserve the environment, not just using the environment as a tool to help them make a lot of profit. They should conserve the environment in the sake for our future generations given that human cannot live without environment.Business should limit their use of natural resources; otherwise our future generation can no longer meet their needs for natural resources. We have a responsibility to our future generations.

Week 3: Muhaysin’s Blog

This week is a tough one for me because I suffered from asthma which made me absent for days. I just stayed at our home and relax for me to get well and feel better.

When I was recovered from asthma,  we played basketball with my friends where we go home almost 1 am. We were having fun and felt relieved.

The most amazing part of my week is our pictorial day wherein me and my classmates felt the excitement because graduation is coming nearer, which is the awaited time for us. The photographer took individual pictures of us wearing school complete uniform and the best outfit which is the toga.

After that, we took pictures wherein all the boys of our section are there. Someone posted our pictures with the caption: “my favorite brothers”, “bastardos lucia.” Then I realized that graduation is coming nearer and we will go in our separate ways and I will surely miss them all.

Week 2: Life Is Worth Living

Muhaysin Baru-ang

This week is a tiring one for me. We had our third periodical exam and I’m not prepared.  I wasn’t able to answer some of the questions especially Business Finance. I’m so disappointed and distracted because I had so many problems to deal with. In addition, I’m not feeling well which causes me to absent from the class. And also I’m actually suffering from overthinking that destroys my entire week or maybe will destroy my LIFE.

Listening to music really helps me a lot. In a short moment of time I was able to forget the world and just be myself. Thinking of how life really hits me that hard and be a better version of me each day. I’m trying my very best to fight and continue living because really life is worth living.

I spent my last day of the week playing basketball. It is good to be back and I’m so happy even though my body can’t play the way I play before. I really love playing basketball but I decided to stop because of my health problem. Don’t give up on your dreams even if it will risk your life. Embrace yourself human. No matter what happen don’t forget to pause and pray. Always remember it’s a bad day not a bad life. Just be with God/Allah and don’t worry everything will be fine. LIFE IS WORTH LIVING MATE.

A Week In My Life

Week #1

Muhaysin Baru-ang

I always start my day with a prayer because I dedicate my daily life to my God. Without God I’m nothing. Always think God every single day. Always be thankful to him that you’re still alive and awake. Always thank God for the blessings you had. Always thank God for everything.

This week is a tiring one. We have so many projects to deal with.  We make our products in Entrepreneurship and also the Business Plan and our Research Paper. Also we had to prepare for our 3rd examination and for the upcoming activities like for the Grand Expo and Research Defense.undefined

We need to work hard for the better future. We don’t have that much time but still made it. Time is gold we must not waste our time for nonsense thing. We must use our time with a purpose. Always think that time is running and it will not come back.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
